Second-skin, figure-hugging, buttery soft and weightless. These are just some of the properties that inspired us to use Lycra. Also known as Spandex, or Elastane, it is a type of polymer that stretches up to 5-10 times its original shape. Historically, the invention of Lycra completely changed clothing by reforming the ease and fit of garments, making way for new concepts and designs.

From Audrey Hepburn, who used to be a dancer and appreciated Lycra for its softness and elasticity, to Louis Armstrong, whose undergarments were made from Lycra when he first landed on the moon, Lycra is monumental.
